You know Brynne's ready to be released from the hospital when...

1) She orders two cups of the hospital/cafeteria coffee because it "tastes so good."
2) She looks forward to riding a stationary bike while watching TV.
3) She adjusts her blood transfusion to go a little bit faster.
4) She tells her doctors that they should let her go home today. And isn't joking.
5) She beeps the nursing staff to alert them that her 2:00 meds are late.
6) She becomes used to peeing in a "hat" (plastic bowl that measures the amount of urine excreted)
7) She brushes her teeth even with a very low platelet count(& her gum's bleed all day long).
8) She gets excited that she drank 2 liters of water in a day and doesn't have to be hooked up to fluids.
9) She cleans the disgusting patient microwave and counter top, that none of the nurses or PCAs would even touch.
10) She gets ecstatic when she gets woken up by her nurse and informed that her platelet transfusion is ready to begin.
11) She doesn't care that she isn't recycling the little plastic medicine cups. She just wants them out of her sight!!!!
